We are doing a hell of a job keeping the death rate down

Is it fair to say we know most if not all that have died from it? In fact many who have died have been listed as dying from it just because they had it when in fact it may not even be why. What we don't know is how many have had it. So, the death rate seems meaningless.

I wouldn't say meaningless as it serves as a decent barometer for how a country is reacting to COVID but it isn't much to debate over given everything else we already know.

If it works as well as the small sample has shown then it'll be more helpful in phase 2 of this thing than phase 1 probably. Just tough to ramp production that quickly. Especially since much of the production will need to be domestic I assume.

Hey peaches, those rates are among the lowest in the world - and it's nearly impossible to get tested without being over 50 and exhibiting symptoms - when this is said and done - if we tested solely for who has the antibodies - the rate of death would be miniscule - go ahead and say it - America is doing a great job all things considered - don't be an outsider u lil sissy peachy queer - you can be part of American too - join America - don't hate her

In Italy you need to ignore what the number of deaths are there. They have been including anyone who has died without even knowing if they had it or not.
People with multiple issues are in a precarious situation to begin with, hard to say someone died of Covid 19 when they are very compromised to begin with.

Very disingenuous and pretty much a lie to say someone with heart and lung issues died from Covid 19....
Same as if they had something else, like Flu, a cold, Pneumonia, etc...

Always knew the death numbers were off in Italy and probably other places, including here.

China just flat out lied about how many had it and died. Laughable that only 3,500 or so died...
When it is being reported to times that number by at least 10 or more

One of the reasons the numbers are much more is in some cases especially early on people with mild symptoms were told to stay home for 14 days and only get tested or go to the hospital if their symptoms became worse. Those people are not in the statistics and there are many of them.

And ER’s now are treating as flu and sending home without confirming

The two leaders of the Democratic party blasted him on twitter for shutting down travel from China. But they have since erased the tweet. I wonder why

Yes, it is a mess. That is why their numbers are not accurate or to be believed.
THe country and the health care system is a mess, it is not that good since it is socialized.
Do not care about their ratings, the ratings are a joke. You can see how their system is performing under the gun, not very well.

They are just declaring people who die whether they know or not why they died as Covid 19.
They have had doctors and health care people say it already in Italy.
