As a side note to the topic of this thread,I have known many Muslims who were moral,peaceful people.Who were extremly offended in how their religion was being used as a political tool.I will now get off my soap box.

Unfortunately more than a minority of practicing Muslims advocate Jihad. I would say a large majority of Muslims support the violence and represssion that I criticize.
Human Rights, Treatment of Women, Progress seem to have no place with the majority of practicing Muslims. I am not arguing theory as stated in the Koran, just how it is practiced.
Also, I am talking about now, not the crusades or past indiscretions of the Church.

First of all, roughly around the Kennedy era the parties started switching roles, blue collar crowd moving toward the republican side, while the democratic party became one more and more of college grads and professionals, your unemployed comment is really dumb. Secondly I am not a supporter of the socialist party, nor am I anti-American, to make the assumption that anyone that oposes this war or Bush Jr. is a socialist or anti-American is really dumb too. Thirdly IT IS anti-American to shut up and put up when your government is wrong. In our system of government it's is assumed, though many seem to have forgotten, that it is a civic duty to resist when our government is wrong. That's how the first amendment was won, it wasn't just given.

I don't care what you thoughts on war, government, or anything else may be, but, if you can't discuss them without making derogatory staements about peoples race and/or religion, then keep them to yourself please.

I want to set the record straight.
I do not condone attacking innocent civilians and I don't celebrate when I see innocent Iraqis killed.
We cannot say that for most of our foes who I am sure celebrated 911 and homicide attacks when school children are blown up.
