The vast majority of threads devolve into a shit show. If you don't enjoy participating in the shit show, why wouldn't you stop posting? I know of one poster who gave the mods an ultimatum, he made his intentions clear to everyone (and I liked the guy)
And I think the mods made the correct decision by not taking action, I'm not a fan of ultimatums, you can't establish such a precedent

Every thread that is remotely political in the main forum devolves into a shit show. Nearly every high post count thread in this subforum devolves into a shit show. A lot of the threads that don't have 5 posts. If that bothers you, why should you have to choose to ignore certain threads and/or posters? Why wouldn't you find a forum where that issue doesn't exist? You sound like a 14 year old boy when you call someone a pussy for making a personal choice as to what is a valuable use of time. The entire point is ridiculous. Nobody is leaving here because of my posts. Some people leave for a variety of reasons but if you look back at the threads from 2011 till now.....the majority of long time posters are still postings.....the others leaving had nothing to do with me.
