Far from the truth.

Entering tonight, Washington was 7-6 versus teams ranked in Top10 (at time of game...Sagarin rankings) and 11-9 vs teams in top half of league

Caps are 8-1-2 against the Atlantic Division and 8-2-1 against the Northeast Division.

Pitt creamed Philly in Philly last night. I guess that win wasn't impressive either. :lol:

I think they can go 3-2-1 in that stretch which would be respectable.

We've already played Boston once this year and beat them so I think we should be able to split the two games against them in this stretch.

Ideally we should be able to beat Ottawa and the Isles on the road but this team is kind of unpredictable.

We definitely have a shot against Detroit. Should be a great game.

i agree, alittle. you might be able to split with the Bruins. However, i think that the Islanders & the Senators might be the problem as the " mighty " Caps might take 'em lightly and i could be wrong i think they are back-to-back. And I think the Wings just smoke your ass. Thanks for the reply.

All you had to do was scroll back up within this very thread

Caps before last night's game vs Edmonton were 7-6 against the current Top10. Only three other teams (SJ, BOS, DET) have a better record in this role

At same time, Caps were 12-10 vs top half of the league. Again, the only three teams with better record in same role are SJ, BOS and DET

That noted, I think they're a good shot to grab three wins, though which of the two home games (DET/BOS) they get I need to scope out where Wings and Bruins will be at that point.
