CHRIST tried to teach them Individualism

The most common mistake about capitalism and its supporters is to equate buying power with invidualism.

Socialist.

I believe some of the early Christian sects were socialist in nature. And many of the early Christian sects that came to America were also socialistic. The Shakers are just one example.

But any attempt to define the social or political view of Christ is futile IMO. You can always pluck a phrase out of the Bible to make your point. No one really knows for sure.

Shakers

ib...

btw...

did some research. Let's put it this way: apparently you think you know me more than you do, yet i do KNOW who you are...and you might want to change "curacao" back to "costa rica"...

as far as the "error" goes. I would replace it with "until" but that would imply a length of time...
I was referring to you spending most of your life on your knees, arriving at the midsection of most males...

Christ was neither a Socialist or Capitalist, but to the common man he may appear to be both as he had to interact with both while he was on Earth, and there are many bible stories about these interactions and both have existed for thousands of years on earth after him and most people will identify with the type of man they want Christ(themselves) to be.

So Christ was neither.

Or if you really want to you could say he was both.

Nice "safe" answer: you can't say that he was both!

I think the question was more along the lines of "if he were alive today (all other things being equal) what 'camp' would he belong to?

If Christ was here today he would still be NEITHER.

Or to the common man he would appear to be both.

People came to this country to have freedom of religion,However the constitution and the bill of rights was written by Christians with the focus on individuals to be able to pursue happiness as christian god given right..This without question would make him a capitilist maybe not a practicing capitalist but certainley endorsing it, because socialism has way to many restrictions on individual freedom.

Interesting question, however, one forgets that Christ's purpose was to be the sacrificial lamb, that all that believe in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. He is our salvation, because man cannot save himself by works, but by faith in Jesus Christ. Christ was not here on Earth to promote socialism or capitalism, but spiritualism.

Now to contradict myself because this topic is interesting. Jesus was a carpenter (entrepreneur). Jesus was a great salesman (he talked 12 people into leaving their families for a greater reward in heaven). Jesus told these twelve to multiply (Network marketing).

Hmmmm Christianity or Amway? Have to say he was a capitalist.

Christ did not hold a card for either, but acted as both.

But we are tired of educating you radioBOY.

Why don't you stuck your head up your A*S (where it is now) and give yourself a swift kick and DISAPPEAR.

Well, put down "A Guide to Snappy Comebacks" long enough to name them then.
But CAN you really answer the question? Could it be that you have watched too much Cold War propaganda to believe in anything other than the present system?

It's a shame. How cynical is that after all, to think that there's nothing better out there...

That one got ya, huh?

Still waiting on the thousands of "restrictions put forth by socialism".

Or will you continue to dodge the issue like a draft...

The above is just a reflection of your weak and defensive personality.
