Just pure creatine monohydrate will work. Don't waste your money on the expensive brands - it's pretty much all the same.

I've never read any negative article healthwise on creatine. It's universally suggested by health experts as healthy and useful. As someone mentioned earlier, be sure to drink lots of water; which you should be doing anyways

A good creatine to take to not get bloated and put on a bunch of water weight is Creatine Clear(FSI makes it). I know a lot of female college athletes take this one b/c they obviously don't want to gain a lot of weight, but they still want to gain strength.

I just started taking this recently and have had good results.

I havent used it in a couple of years but V12 from SAN was good stuff.I cycled it for about a year ,cant remember any bad side effects.Bloating was never a problem,I think just making sure you dilute it enough is the key. Some really good benefits tho.

I think using the creatine is worth it if youre going to be working out anyway.

Creatine is basically creatine, just get the Mono. Make sure its creapure so its the good stuff, but you can get it cheap just about anywhere online.

If you MUST have a designer creatine, at least get something that uses good effective ingredients. I would suggest Controlled Labs Green MAGnitude

A few years ago I went to my doctors and had blood work done. My creatine levels were 3 to 4 times the normal. He told me that was not normal and it could destroy my kidneys. He had me drink nothing but water for three months and get rechecked. They were still slightly high and he told me to get it checked every year. I have never taken any supplements and I rarely touch weights. Anybody here anything about this I would love to hear more.

Creatine

Just started on Animal Pump, it's every bit as good as I heard it was.

I really feel that extra boost to get up those last few reps or do more wieght. I can feel my muscles getting torn up which means they are going to grow.

http://animalpak.com/html/article_details.cfm?ID=318

Paid 28 for it.
Nine pills in addition to the creatine drink. Sh--, i don't think i could handle nine pills. :monsters-

What does the FSI stand for. Tried to find it on the web:lolBIG:

This site here seems to have a lot of good info about creatine in general http://www.absolute-creatine.com/creatine.htm

Personally I prefer using creatine citrate mixed with vitamin B2 and sodium bicarbonate to increase energy levels and give instant muscle power. This way you can work out much harder and longer without getting tired thus building muscle more naturally.
I have no problems with water retention using citrate and have heard similar feedback from others who have used it.

The general rule with everything IMO is to do anything within reason and always listen carefully to your body.

creatine is fine as long as you drink alot of water. dont worry about water weight thatll go away but the results will stay as long as you keep workin out after stickin with creatine for a few months. i take cell tech and it works good. i know people who added 50 pounds to bench press in a month but i havent gotten to continuosly use the creatine due to wrist surgery. anyway creatine and whey protein with a good diet and wokrout plan and youll see huge differences
