I'm pretty sure that the WV/Louisville game is a "reverse dog". The line is moving UP and WV has 73% ATS and 73% ML.

Again, the key to the reverse dog is the line continues to move UP, while the money goes to the Dog.

WSG...what is the reasoning behind this?? Why would the books want the line to be higher, creating a bigger "dog" after the majority of the money is already on the dog at the lower line? That's my only question at this point....why does the line keep going up in this situation?

fwiw...WV/Louisville line will have to watched right up till kick-off. I have a gut feeling big money will be dumped on the Cardinals at the last minute.

so...

CLIPPERS opened at -4.5, and the line as been pulled down to -3 (-3.5 in some spots). the clippers are 65% on the spread and 75% on the ML, however, the line is moving down in the CLIPPERS favor. would this constitute as a play???

i'm not looking to make any plays tonight w/ this system, i just want to know what qualifies and what doesn't.

thanks.

Sorry for the confusion...I meant, in general, on a reverse dog, while will the line move up, even when all the bets are going to the dog.

Not necessarily on the WV game tonight. However, I think it is currently a RD play because the line started at pk and has stayed at Louisville -1, despite all the bets going down on WV.

As mentioned above....the truth will be told right before kickoff (remember last night w/ Fresno?). We'll just have to wait and see what happens.

if u have time can you check to see if mon van tor can be played?

thx ron

RON,
i think you are correct here with spotting the right game, not sure if it is a play or isn't, but it definetly would be putting smart money on the right team if you played CAR or TOR. carolina because 53% of money is on them, however, line slightly moving down in carolina's favor. and TOR because they are 53% on ml, however, the line is moving up as florida being a favorite.

glad this thread turned around.... Good luck WSG...... we'll probably be on some of the same sides tonight. Looks like we may be opposed on the WV/Lou game if you end up siding with WV. but that happens....

am gonna say this one more time and after that your all on your own. There is no magical system of picking winners and there sure as hell will never be any magical system that the books give to the players.
I have followed sports insights numbers for many years now and in the end the only people that make money using these numbers are the people charging you for the service, sports insight.
A couple of years ago there was 3 guys on another messagboard who were doing the same thing WSG is showing you all what to do, they won for awhile, then they turned into a pay service {lol} with their magical si system and then they proceeded to get blown right out of the water.
This si stuff isnt anything new, its been around for around 7 years now, but for some reason it hasnt been talked about alot on the rx and if you guys did some surfing to other big name messageboards you would see this stuff has been talked about over and over again. WSG, doesnt have some super duper system he invented, the way hes telling you to use si's numbers are the correct way according to si's own site, problem is this system goes hot and cold, but usually ends up around 50 percent.
your time would be better off actually learning how to cap a game, looking for an advantage over the oddsmakers, but everybody wants the magical shortcut to riches, hell i want it to, just aint out there.
If any of you know a big shot in a large book, and he is willing to give you how much money is being bet on games, then you can bet your ass this sytem will work bigtime. But you arent seeing the amounts being bet and by who, so there numbers are basically the same as wagerlines.
Using this stuff as a tool in your capping is good, using just it to bet games, will cost you in the long run. Am only making these posts because i have seen this stuff so many times before, i dont like seeing others lose cash
Good luck to everybody and amy all your games be winners.

Totally agree about this not being the magical path to riches but I like when the money movement theories coincide with the teams I've already picked through conventional capping.

To create confusion, and nothing more. There is something about that game (reverse dog), that the book needs you thinking one way, but yet the line is showing different. MASS CONFUSION! Bottom line.....they (book) need this game!
