MajorGCG thinks FSU is god awful and is going to lose. They are not just bad, but GOD AWFUL. No qb, no coaches, no oline, no defense, NOTHING. I mean they've played 2 HIGH SCHOOL teams! Wake +4 is easy money; take it to the bank.

As shown by his limitation of the Ponder quote, I'm certain his analysis is devoid of any pre-existing biases and hyperbole showing a complete lack of perspective. I think Wake covers as well, and that's a fine opinion to have, but there are ways to go about it in which you do not look like a rabid, flaming homer. It takes away from the analysis from a gambler's perspective.

It looks like there are a lot of FSU fans that have their Garnett and Gold glasses on. Be real FSU played 2 high school teams to start the season. Every year FSU fans do their "clean slate" theory where they hype up their team like they are the best and things have changed. WRONG!!!
FSU still has the same shitty offensive line with no depth. Yes they have play makers but their QB's have been terrible. With no protection they become garbage. About 7-8 games in GSU fans call for someones head and begin to talk about how shitty they are and turn on their own players.

If you want a play for this game Tease Wake +10 with Florida -1 and you will have your self a winner.

Anybody claiming FSU has no coaching deserves to have their post deleted from the thread. Seriously, that's just a retarded comment.

Not saying FSU will win, but they are by far the more talented team. And they're playing at home. At night. With their first decent, well-coached QB since Weinke.

Call me a homer, but provided Ponder doesn't crumble under the pressure of the spotlights (he shouldn't, he's a very composed kid), FSU should surprise people this year. It starts Saturday night.

look at the record and 'form' (at that time) of each team heading into that matchup.
look at the line vegas hung on the game.
and then look, again, at the final score.
this is more rhetorical than anything else.
point is, the line was supposed to tell us something prior to the above meeting. fsu proceeded to get embarrassed.
i think fsu wins this game fairly comfortably though on saturday. wake is extremely overrated. grobe is a fantastic coach. but theyre not a great team. just very efficient.

i respect ur opinion a ton, but just disagree FSU wins easily. i think they can win outright, and either team can but does anyone see more value in the total?

While an argument can be made for both sides, I believe there are better games out their and this is a no play for me. This game really can go either (yes, i know that can happen in any game), but it is hard to determine what you are getting from FSU. Wake is the more stable, dependable team.

This is one of those games for FSU, that could propel them to the ACC title game or to a nose dive in conference play. Unless you have a desire or extremely strong desire to take one side, I believe wait for the 2nd half or sit back and enjoy a 24-20, 21-17, type of game going either way.

I have a ML wager on Wake Forest at +165. WF is not only the better team, but they have played better competition than FSU has so far. That was an impressive win for Wake Forest to beat Mississippi even if it was a home win. I think people are going to acknowledge that even more as Mississippi starts racking up some wins against teams they aren't expected to beat.

Wake Forest is some of the best value on the board this week . . . .
