Agree fire everyone and start over. The pay is way way out of whack compared to what they make. Impossible to make a profit with the cost of labor and the bonuses of the management.

Maybe the upcoming massive layoffs will change the UAW minds about taking a pay hike. They are way overpaid.

Just last year, GM Ontario was buying out their early retirement employees at 107 k a pop. Numerous accepted this deal. Their Pension was set at 650 clean with all medical and dental covered. Cost of living was also included.

Now these retirees are finding out the GM pension plan was 5 billion short to date .

A pay hike is not in their thought patterns. They were even willing to undergo bankruptcy rather than take a pay cut as we saw the UAW unwilling to accept money even though it meant their own contract's demise.

They are conditioned to not work in order to get pay raises through their strike mentality. That's how deep this goes with them.
