They banned several people on both sides of the political spectrum. The owner over there was a far left dude and the mods were moderate to conservative. Over the course of several months the activity on the site began to slow down considerably. Several months later they decided to "unban" most of the people they banned in order to generate more activity on the site. Most of the banned posters never came back and the site started to decline. It was a blanket move when they unbanned the problem posters, it wasn't done on an individual basis.

The one particular mod who banned me.....was a far righty and I was rightfully reinstated very shortly afterwards. The blanket reinstatement did not include me. I emailed right after the ban and was told it was lifted. I didn't come back right away.....in fact came back and I think the place was dead.

Been pretty clear about this. I can't speak for others but can speak for myself. If you speak to the head moderator over there....he can confirm my situation.
