Ok that is done, I still have log open, do you need to know anything out of there. It says 1 virus found, just that virus I already mentioned. It said it successfully modified the registry.

It also says Joke_smallpen and worm_agobot, it has like 35 of those worm_agobot, and 1 dos_agobot

What did it do with the agbot viruses? These are fairly damaging, becuase they turn of most virus scan programs.

Sysclean should taken care of everything now. ry rescanning and see if any viruses resurface.

Reboot your machine first.

With the amount of crap that was removed from your machine its incredible u were able to use it for this long.

Looks like we have some success. My CPU is back down to 1-6% instead of the 100% it was running at. Everything is pretty fast, still having some trouble with webpages but just those annoying runtime errors that I have always had, any clue on how to get rid of those? I tried to run liveupdate but still cant, I click live update but nothing happens, but it isnt shutting down now?

I still cant get to symantec.com or trendmicro.com, so something must still be doing a little something. So I guess that is why I still can't get the liveupdate to work.

emove your SYMANTEC completly. You had 800 viruses with the scan engine installed. Use trendmicro twice a week. For runtime errors reinstall the latest version of IE and install runtime java.

update

I have just today installed a zonelab firewall, it has blocked 180 intrusions in 3 hours. Everything is running great but I still cant access www.microtrend.com or symantec.com, any ideas on that?
