You have to be a pro to play video poker and expect a profit. I think there a software program that simulates a game. You must master it first. They had a show about the MIT bj team. Just to clarify what Fishhead said about holding a 3 flush with KQ in the hand; you only how the 3 flush when you also have a straight penalty to the KQ, otherwise just hold the KQ. To further complicate matters, this ia only if are playing the 10/7 version, if you are playing the 9/7 version, then you hold the 3 flush regardless of the penalty. You should never play the 9/7 version unless you have a great promotion to go with it or it's a prgressive. In the case of a progressive, you wouldn't hold a 3 flush with KQ because of the added value of the royal.

Bob Dancers Win poker is the best program I know of on the market. I personally am about even lifetime and that is only because I have hit an extraordinary amount of royals this year.(about a dozen) but with cashback and comps I am way ahead and this is after thousands of hours of play. In other words if you have to gamble in a casino this is a good way to past time. If you want to depend on it FORGET IT!
