There was a time I was selling RX meds online and over the phone and we got the greenlight for Hydrcodone. I swear to god these people were like crack heads for this stuff. People with dislocated disks are out there doing back flips and playing golf and downing a bottle of this stuff a day. Thats the best there is for pain but at the same time it is extremely addicting. I love the FDA bullshit approval process and these commercials about sleep aid and "Ask you Doctor if this is right for you" so he can get you hooked on our products etc.
I was also reading about an article on the drug cocktails needed for people with HIV/AIDS and these drug companies are pricing these medications really high for the best medications because they know people will pay the prices to stay alive. Therefore the rich live and the poor die from AIDS. Its really sad our society has allowed this and our governments as well meanwhile they are worried about ONLINE GAMBLING.

Many docs and pharmacies now require the script or pills returned before they'll give you a batch of the other.
Lying to obtain narcotics is a felony. It is prosecuted a lot more than you think. Emergency rooms and docs have their prescriptions monitored and I would say about once/month and investigator comes by and looks into some patient - who has either shown up at a bunch of ERs in the same week or repeatedly asked for new scripts.

It hurt like hell for 3 weeks and I was in a walker for 6 weeks. If you have the option, have cement used to anchor your lower appliance. You will be able to walk the next day. Yep, so did Chandler from Friends and I am sure lots of others. For me and other long time abusers Vicodin is amatuer hour, LOL. It's either Percoset or something bigger when I need help with pain. I still use them in emergencies, in fact probably got about 600 laying around from old scripts I filled but never took. Can't have too many of them just in case but I rarely take one. I did just take a 10/650 Percoset though, medically needed of course.

I had a little episode of being hooked on the pain pills after back disc surgery. They work well & you shouldn't have any problem with them. If you're still on them regularly 3 months from now, that may be a different story.
I was on pills for 6 weeks before I bit the bullet & finally had the disc fixed, so I was on them at least another 6 after that. Now that's one hell of a way to get hooked! I was all screwed up-the disc turned out to be a lot worse than the MRI showed-so that partially explains why I was eating them like candy.

THESE TWO DRUGS ARE SIMILAR, BUT NOT the same. Hydrocodone is the generic name for Vicodin, Norco, Lortab and about 30 others. It is a narcotic analgesic, and not quite as strong as Oxycodone. It's also SLIGHTLY less regulated ie.. it can be CALLED IN to a pharmacy by a physician. It can be habit forming. Vicodin and the rest are a combo of hydrocodone and acetaminophen (Tylenol). Oxycodone is also a narcotic analgesic, also can be habit forming. It's also a combo of acetaminophen and oxycodone (generic) name for Percocet, Tylox, Roxilox. It is SLIGHTLY more regulated ie.. in CANNOT be called in to a pharmacy, you have to have a physical written prescription from a physician. Because of it's potential for abuse and dependence, doctors tend to order Vicodin rather than Percocet.
