Vick comes back and wins with a shit team like atlanta i would like to see any other qb do this. Vick isn't even playing to his full potential this game was a warm up for him. Only if Vick had a decent team to play until then we can only watch and be amazed by his athletic abilities. I play qb as well and my style is exactly like Vick, but i can throw the deep ball Vick kept throwing it short maybe because he doesn't have any receivers downfield who knows. The only bad thing i can say about Vick is that the announcers must have said his name over 100 times at least eventually i turned off the volume. Does anyone know the exact count on how many times the announcers said Vick?

Vick is definately dangerous, as his ability to run the ball can be just as good as a long throw down field. I just love teams with these type of QB's. They are the true playmakers.

At half time when the score was tied 7-7 I was sitting with the last game of a 10 pt and a 6 pt teaser open. I had Carolina +5 and +9.

After watching Vick in the first half I said to myself that not only is this guy something special on offense, but the Atlanta defense which normally sucks was shutting down Carolina and Davis. The only thing I could think of was that in some way he was also inspiring the defense. I knew for certain right there at half time that Atlanta would win the game. I took Atlanta at Pick for the 2nd half for the same amount of money I had on the 2 teasers. I ended up winning my Atlanta bet, losing the +5 teaser and middling my Carolina +9 teaser. It worked out very nice.

But there is one thing that I came away with. There are certain bets I will never make in football no matter how good they look. i.e. Betting on a lousy team-Arizona for example. There are too many other bets available to get caught on one of these suckers. I now just added another bet that I will never make. That is-bet against a Michael Vick led team. The man has the ability to win a game by himself. I don't like using this often used cliche, but the guy is AWESOME.

Hahahaha. That is a GREAT idea. Sure, just give the ball to Vick in OT. Because it isn't like Vick has the potential to score a TD from anywhere on the field.

I mean, it isn't like Vick beat Minnesota in OT last year on an amazing run...right?

The Funk Monkey - You know how when peopletalk about a person all the time and continuely remind you how great they are, like the media did with Tiger Woods. I think they are starting to do it with Michael Vick. Unfortunately, when a person gets shoved in your face all of the time it forces the public to either love em or hate em.

I think that's why you see some people ripping on Vick. I'm sure Vick is a great person but the media hype is forcing even me to hope that he fails.

Vick's a great runner but a 20 yd pass is as good as a 20 yd run. The only difference is everyone goes crazy when Vick runs for 20 yds and not much is said about a 20 yd pass unless of course it's Vick throwing it. His completion percentage will always be near the bottom of the league. Add up running and passing yards and you'll see that there are many QB's that are more productive. Vick is a fumbler and will lose many games because of it. Atl was going in for the winning FG last night when Vick threw a pick. This guy is the most overrated QB in the league.

Micheal Vick is just another case of the nfl and espn trying to create a superstar. He's ok but let's not get carried away. He not that good. Just because he can run with the ball doesn't mean jack. Now a mediocre QB and kid just out of high school that plays hoops makes more money than the all stars that are veterans.

It's torture listening to announcers falling all over these kids. Let their play speak first then give the praise.
