BallState is having an excellent season!! No reason to think things will change versus 2-7 Miami of Ohio. Miami lost to Buffalo last week by 20. The week before they gave up 54 points to KentState! These teams are headed in opposite directions. BallState scored 45 points last week against a pretty good Northern Illinois defense. They should put up at least that many in tonight's game. Consider like opponents: BallState destroyed KentState by 41-20. This game will not be pretty! It will be over by halftime! Lay the points and enjoy this blowout!

The Leafs had had trouble killing penalties with opponents converting at over 45% against them over their last 5 games and now they have to play with-out Mike Van Ryan who has turned out to be one of their top defensemen. If you look at Charlotte you would never play this game over, but the key here is Denver as they still want to up tempo even with Billups and they let other teams score pretty easily. Denver has not played a game that scored less than 190 so far this year and that gives me what I call good line value tonight. Charlotte will have their chances and I actually expect them to win at home 104-102!

The Leafs are one of the worst defenses in the NHL right now and the Flames have given up 19 goals in their last 4 games. The Toronto offense has really perked up lately netting 16 goals in their last 4 games. The Flames offense has not been that good lately but the Leafs defense is a perfect tonic to solve your scoring troubles. It all adds up to a high scoring affair in Calgary on Tuesday night.
