I agree

I agree with you completely, but one thing that I found is actually important is how public opinion tends to move lines, and that is where money is made for people who know what they are doing. Betting for or against the public seems silly, and there no such thing as a Vegas trap game, there is just a trap game for the team. Like lets say Boston College - North Carolina. Or how they get their asses handed to them by Harvard, Miami, Wake Forest, and Va Tech. Yes Harvard, remember that one? I guarantee Vegas didnt think of it as a trap game, so there is no such thing, or the line they set would have coaxed you to bet Boston College even more, or North Carolina against Boston College. However I do believe teams have trap games, let down games, games they have decided they want to win no matter what so they never give up, even when they get down by 10 or more. Its those intangibles in important games from good coaching that cover spreads. Or jerk off coaches that are running up and down the court with a 25 point lead. Coaches make all the diff in the spreads and I think very few people have or keep stats on them and their tendencies, except vegas. Which is why they win much more than they lose.
