Also -- if there is one thing on earth more annoying than people whining about how online casinos are all fixed, but less annoying than serial child rapists, I'd say that happy medium has to be people bitching about smoke. Grow a fúcking clue you bunch of pussies. If you don't like smoke, don't go places where there is likely to be smoke. You do not, I repeat not have a *right* to be in any particular place of business just because you want to be there. If you can't find a non-smoking casino that suits you maybe you need a new hobby. Anything but griping here, please. Try fishing. Great outdoors, smoke dissipates. Never hear anybody bitching about how the Gulf of Mexico is all smokey do you? Go for it.

I wish Las Vegas was less smoky also , but don't see much changing soon beyond a few non-smoking tables and better ventilation in the better casinos.
About 8-10 years ago the Silver City(across from Stardust) tried an experiment and promoted itself as 'completely smoke-free casino'.. All the non-smokers in town applauded it but not enough of them backed up their sentiment with patronage as they lost net business on the move and shortly thereafter went out of business.
Las Vegas, both locals and tourists, has a higher rate of smoking(and drinking and drug abuse) than most states and it will be the last place to go with California or Bloomberg Rules.

We have a winner!

Anybody with the balls to back up their whining is welcome to try to repeat the Silver City experiment, but in the meantime, Gulf of Mexico is beautiful this time of year.

NOTE- At the time of the Silver City experiment, it was absolutely the cleanest casino I had ever been in.

I wouldn't doubt it Fish. Cigarette smoke stinks and leaves a pall in the air, a film on everything, and probably contributes to dingy carpet with what would be an occasional stray ash on a carpet at home multiplied times thousands and thousands of slot players with alcohol and emotion factored in.

Start one up, maybe the time is right now that the whole world is worked up into one big anti-smoking hysteria. I would put money in it on the premise that voluntary anything is better than state-mandated.
