I don't like being controlled/ monitored/ restricted, or whatever word you like. Things are a bit different here and things can get hot quickly, with lots of differing opinions and some pretty mentally unstable folks posting !
Most of us probably don't especially care for the police, but we really wouldn't want a world without them 3 digits and a few minutes away when needed, it would be chaos without that being available !
The children here do not play well together and need a little bit of babysitting from time to time !
If the RX were a forum that catered to philatalists, numismatics, tropical fish enthusiats, or similar more civilized people, then very little moderation would be required.
This is more akin to online county jail than a forum for people that are into gardening, sewing, caring for their parrot, or whatever other mundane thing you can think of !
If people here were just a bit more respectful to each other it would go a long way towards making this place more pleasant, but it always devolves into something like an episode of Jerry Springer !
I do realize that there are often financial transactions leading up to poster feuds.
Bottom line is some degree of moderation is called for here
