As a USC alum, I couldn't be more proud about how the Trojans bull-whipped and dominated Stanford by 18 points today.
This should make all the Trojan haters think again about how talented this team is. FIGHT ON! Soumi

I am beginning to think Clay Helton actually knows what he's doing. He had a look of being all business yesterday.
I must admit I didn't think he had it in him. If he can keep his guys playing up to their potential, the sky's the limit.

Too bad they can't just give Reggie Bush back his Heisman and undo all that shit the infractions committee fucked
them with. And what they did to Todd McNair, someone deserves some jail time. That still pisses me off.

Pretty easy now to see USC going unbeaten. I don't think Washington is all that great and the rest of the Pac 10 seems average or below average. And USC gonna cremate Notre Dame & Texas.

USC good enough to go unbeaten, but they have a long history of being unfocused at times. Could lose a road game when they are heavily favored.

I had the farm +7 but was never happier to lose that bet. love my Trojans :) 623 yds to 342 with 307 yds rushing, we out Stanforded them. As you said Conan a defining moment in the season.

I too had Stanford + the points and USC was very impressive. What may be getting lost here is that Stanford actually looked good in defeat. Those USC passes and drives were undefendable. I'm not dropping Stanford one bit in my power ratings. If Darnold and Co. play like that it will be them vs Bama in the ship.
As far as the Pac goes Wazzu was disappointing in victory as was Cal. Ore St sticks and I'm not sure about who Ucla and Oregon truly are yet or Utah for that matter; Byu looks awful for a squad that had high hopes, my high school team would've beat them.

I can tell you Ole Miss minus the 3' at CAL this week is the golden ticket.

They won't go undefeated. Maybe regular season (doubt it) but would have NO CHANCE in playoff verse bama

So what is your thoughts about USC Vs. Texas? Would lay the 17-point chalk and take the Men of Troy?

David Shaw is the most overrated coach since Chip Kelly. I laugh every time I hear Shaw to NFL rumors, please make it be so he can finally be unmasked like Kelly was.

It's really sad how little perspective West Coast football fans and press have on the Pac12's relevance in the national picture. It's been a league full of tomato cans for nearly a decade now, they prop themselves up by beating each other, but shit the bed on the national stage with amazing regularity.

Not going to make excuses for USC but USC was in a flat spot coming off the Stanford win. Not may teams cover the week AFTER playing Stanford just because they tend to be physical games. SC wasted the entire first half sputtering on offense and Texas was fired up for the game. Texas came away with the loss but probably gained more in statue because they played hard. Texas also found the QB for the future in this game as I don't see Bueschel getting that job back. Teams in the PAC12 south are flawed and I don't see them being able to stop USC offensively and i don't think they have the firepower to outscore them. In the north, they don't get UW or Oregon, and have already beaten Stanford.
