Um its already over... :lolBIG:
No, it's never over till it's over, whether it be a two legged animal or four. I've bet a lot bigger favorite with more outstanding races behind him and lost. Never know what will happen, or how he feels today. One bad step and all that speed from the fourty on might not help. :smoker2:

I think i said just that about four threads up and got roasted for saying he would set a world record.I also said it's never over till it's over. haven't seen the race and can't wait.

The race has already been aired a long time ago. Bolt killed everybody. He was saying it's over not because there was no chance Bolt could lose, but because the race actually was over already. It was this morning. Botl 1, some dude from T&T 2, and Dix 3.

First, I am a Walter Dix fan and celebrate his great run and bronze in this historic race. Second, Bolt's WR run ranks with Bob Beamon's '68 long jump as being simply unbelievable (given the benchmarks of the rest of the field running this race). I am a T&F fan and sincerely hope he comes through clean in the tests (but his run was so off charts that I wouldn't be surprised at results either way). Third, I realize timing and scheduling are factors, but it sucks that this historic race wasn't carried live along with appropriate build while swimming has been carried live adnauseam (and I am also a respectful swimmer). Last, they better follow Walter Dix into the 200 where the US has a decent chance to hold off the Jamaican lightning bolts. PS, F massive coverage on unwatchable beach volleyball.

Heard that NBC didn't broadcast this live. Thats quite something, one of, if not the showcase event of the summer olympics not being carried live. What on earth are those idiots at NBC thinking?

I guess it was imperative that every second of the "Redeem" Team's blowout over Spain in the preliminary round was covered. haha

Guys, i coach track and have coached one of my sprinters who ran a 10.4 (electronic timing)(and also plays at UF now), and trust me, that is friggin flying in high school. From what i saw of bolt in the prelims coasting the last 40 meters and still break 10.0 is absolutely ASTONISHING. I seriously thought i was watching a robot running in his lane.

The guy is one of a kind and would win if everyone got a 10m head start.......trust me
