Patrick you make mention of the strength of China and that the +17 is too many points to give them but you only laid $165 on them as opposed to $440 on the U.S.

The USA are going to crush Russia. Russia is too offensively deficient to hang with the USA.

You can count on 90+ points for USA. I just don't see how they score 70 if they barely scored 70 in games against bad teams and only 55pt against Australia.

because if it turns out Penny Taylor plays today or that Lauren Jackson's ankle does not bother her, that 13 point win that I think Australia will win by will turn to 16-19 points. I still think China covers, I just love USA no matter who they play. If south korea was a 42 point dog then you would think Russia would be in the 30's. USA is way to quick for Russia, there is a reason Becky Hammon could not make the USA team.

I know one thing, if I was crazy enough to take USA -42.5, you better believe I'll take them -24 in another game that's a huge matchup favor for USA.

Russia's strength is their steady play inside, and I fully expect their big players to get into foul trouble with Fowles, Leslie, and Parker.

Also, I might add that Korea actually had to ball handling, ball movement, and better speed then Russia. The only thing I think Russia has on Korea is they have much better size inside.

Here is one thing that I found interesting about the O/U in the USA/RUS game...

USA has only gone over 156total pts 1time, and that was against China.

I will probably still take the over, but it's going to be close. However, the best bet on this game is -24, I see my book has it at -25 right now.
