Lol, I guess if someone on the Internet says so, it must be true

How many more failed examples of your cult and priceless quotes are you going to give us before you're completely laughed off the forum?

only really smart English Professors know economics the way fratfraud knows economics. He has no use for economists that disagree with him no matter how esteemed they may be despite the fact that his arguments are usually based on something like I'm right because really smart people think like me. He'll cite Helicopter Ben and say he's a really smart man that agrees with him, then say he doesn't cite Helicopter Ben when Ben says "the mounting debt is a problem". Evidently, Ben ain't so smart when he says that.

You can't reason with that, you move on

Lol, I still don't think Acebb realizes what Spending as a % of GDP is. I think he might have realized he "might" be wrong and started changing his tune, but there is no doubt he thought it has to do with actual spending amounts. That's how dumb these guys are.

Is this English?

I have said 8 times now you have no utter clue how the % of GDP for federal spending is calculated.

Every single response you've made, including this one, indicates that.

Just think about this for a minute, you actually just typed that federal spending as a % of GDP doesn't have anything to do with how much the government actually spends. You actually said this. And to be clear, what the federal government spends as a % of GDP actually relates to what the government's outlays are.

To say you're both dumb and uninformed on this matter is a massive understatement.

Yeah, kind of like a chart from "the Office of the Democratic Leader"

LOL

The epic stupidity you've exhibited in this thread should embarrass you to the point that you stop commenting on these matters.

You're so dimwitted that you won't, however.

I still can't believe this effing dope actually typed this.

It is unreal.

And to think he actually believes he is "smart"

Completely mock worthy.

Here is an example from a CBO Monthly Budget Review:

Federal spending has totaled between $3.5 trillion and $3.6 trillion in each of the past four years, and spending in 2012 was just slightly more than in 2009. As a share of GDP, outlays fell in 2012—to 22.8 percent, which was less than the 24.1 percent recorded in 2011 and 2010 but still above the 40-year average of 21.0 percent.

Yes, the % of GDP spent by the government has to do with real spending amounts. It is accounted for every month and every Fiscal Year.

If this idiot had any class he'd shut up and go away.

He won't.

Wouldn't it be funny if you knew how the OMB and CBO calculated federal spending as a % of GDP and why?

Comedy gold, clown.
Wouldn't it be funny if you understood how percentages actually work, lol. Basic math that you obviously don't understand. And the fact you called me a racist in another thread shows me how stupid you really are. Keep talking, I need a good laugh while at work today.

I believe Ace jokingly called you a racist for not voting for Obama in 2012. If you don't like Obama or didn't vote for Obama then you are racist... that is the running joke around these parts at least.

You are probably correct. The problem around these parts is their is so much hatred from some that it's difficult to know sometimes when someone is serious or just joking.

I know how % actually work.

I actually replied to the silly example with the 1982 GDP figures and went on to note that yet again, you and the abject imbecile who started this thread do not understand how the % of GDP is calculated.

It is beyond comical that someone would write that to you 10 times and you actually believe that saying "basic math" is responsive.

I called you a "racist" in a sarcastic manner. The fact that you can't see that speaks volumes.

Just think about this, the abject imbecile who started this thread not only said that federal spending as a % of GDP is "not important" (it is so "unimportant" that economists within the Obama Administration put in in the yearly budget submission) he actually said it has nothing to do with actual spending.

While also going on to assert that a temporary, less than 1% reduction, in government spending is representative of "austerity"

You can't make this type of stupid up, folks.
