The only ideologue with bullshit ideology in here is a troll, and that would be fratfraud, and everyone in here knows it.

It's too bad we just don't ignore and stop feeding the troll.

Conservatives do try to ignore the truth, I'll give you that. Absolutely nothing I have said in this thread is a lie or trolling. Just basic facts. I understand your confusion though.

Spending money on wars from time to time is necessary and constitutional.

Spending money on the welfare state is unnecessary and unconstitutional.

Not surprising you don't know the difference and not at all shocking that your cult believes there is some hidden economic correlation.

Only you and Keynesian nutjobs like Krugman believe destruction produces economic growth and prosperity.

Ahhh yes, I get it. Spending money on wars is fine. Spending money on welfare, infrastructure, education, technology, etc... will destroy the country and cause massive hyperinflation. It's amazing how you guys come up with these things, lol. But hilarious nonetheless. Like Krugman and Martin Feldstein says, the government is so messed up, that the only thing that would create the necessary amount of spending we need to grow the economy is a massive war. That's how messed up this country is.

Spending on wars has NOTHING to do with domestic econ policy.

Idiot.

Lol, so we can create as much money as possible for wars and it has no affect on the economy, but any other spending will cause massive hyperinflation and destroy the world. Got it! Sounds logical to me, haha

You guys are crazy ideologues. It's easy for every normal person to see that. Probably why very few educated people are conservative and most conservatives are dumb.

Wars create temporary debt; your fucked up ideology creates massive systematic unsustainable debt.

Again, not surprising a commie Keynesian hack like you can't tell the difference.

Ronald Reagan did what ALL great presidents do - left the American people alone.

Reagan's domestic spending was practically non-existent -- FACT.

fratfraud: but, but, but....how can this be? This fucks up my entire theory. Doesn't massive government spending produce economic growth?

NO!

Real economists call that backward regressive ideology, France.

oh, and having historically low interest rates also keeps spending down. Debt service is a very large % of our budget

but somewhere out there in libtardville, I suppose some really smart English Professor is telling future monetary experts that if you pay more in interest to your creditors, you're growing the economy

Spending is spending man. You can try to come up with all the excuses out there as to why we are spending less, but the fact of the matter is the government is spending less than they were 5 years ago. Historically that has not happened in a non-post war period. This is the most austerity this country has ever seen. And the results are to be expected. Only the truly dumb like yourself can't figure it out.

fill the same hole - employ more people

So really, whether McDonalds opens more restaurants, or it gets pissed away on Solyndra, economically, there is no difference -- "spending is spending man"

Printing and spending money = prosperity...lots and lots and lots prosperity!

So did the money they spent on Solyndra disappear or something? This is hilarious coming from someone who thinks spending money on blowing up other countries is a good thing. Lol

The facts are not even disputable. Like you guys are so overwhelmingly on the wrong side that it's hilarious that you continue trying to come up with excuses. If Obama were allowed to be like Big Government Keynesian Reagan this country would be much better off. But Republicans won't let him be like Reagan for some reason. Kind of strange, since that's their hero and all.

Yes.

Redistribution is not wealth creation - it doesn't boost overall output. How could it? By recirculating wealth, you're not adding/multiplying/increasing anything.

Blowing up countries has nothing to do with economics.

fratfraud is DROWNING in Keynesian fallacies!

So what happens when all those people we pay to blow up other countries have money to spend and go buy cars, diapers, food, toys, etc? Did that not create any wealth? Or would someone else have bought those cars, diapers, food, and toys with out them buying it?

Why isn't Obama allowed to be like other Big Government Republicans like Reagan and Bush and add over a million employees? These austerity measures sure seem to not be working. Too bad Reagan wasn't around to tell the Republicans how well being a big government Keynesian works out!!
