Honest? Maybe you’ve cleaned up your act, but your WC thread was pure BS from someone who either is an air bettor, scam artist or craving attention at all costs. Including sound techniques like starting at a unit or two per wager, losing your ass and upping to forty-fifty unit plays chasing your loses. When I used to book action we loved fish like that. Sure, it’s possible that was true strategy with actual wagers, but I’d guess unlikely. The cherry on top was smashing Croatia for like a fifty unit bomb v Russia, posting the regulation line and coming back after Croatia won on penalties and claiming a big win for you and locking the thread.
Croatia to advance was around -175 compared to your posted +110, which was to win in regulation. Your bet was a loser, the draw paid at +200/+210 and Croatia to advance at -175 paid. Either you didn’t really bet the match and didn’t understand how soccer odds work or you were just scamming trying to falsify your record for attention or some other ulterior motive. I’d back the latter due to you immediately locking the thread, a common move for scammers. Does your honest record include that sixty unit victory when it was a fifty unit loss? That’s a one hundred and ten unit swing.
I believe you were new to the site around that time, so maybe it was a one off incident we can chalk up as a foolish mistake and you’ve cleaned your act up since then and are contributing in an honest/positive manner, but don’t drop this holier than thou bullshit. If this place wasn’t a ghost town you would have been called on it already, that shit didn’t fly years ago and you would have immediately been run off as a fraud.

It could’ve been an honest posting mistake if the odds don’t align—I’ve caught myself making a mistake or two now and then on the baseball thread , but I’ve corrected it pretty much every time. I think as far as betting strategy goes, I definitely went overboard with chasing back in the summer. I think it was my way of remedying a poorer picking strategy. I had a deep enough bankroll to do it, but I can hardly venture past $2,000 in a bet now. I put down $1,800 on the Sox winning the ALCS, but that’s the largest wager I’ve put down in a while. I’ve finally developed a better betting strategy than I’m comfortable with, and it’s paying off for me generally.
Any mistake as far as price goes is a genuine one. I definitely could’ve listed an off price in a post here and therw, but the records definitely are correct regardless of what the post said. You do have to understand though that soccer betting rules aren’t universal, and there can be a lot of variance in how they treat ET/PKs book to book. I learned this the hard way from some sour experiences with soccer betting in the past.
