You're better off going with stock07's made-up story of I "disputed" the transaction after I sent it (even though that's much much much less viable than taking money from a bank account then flagging the transaction, but sure we can go along with that). I know that'd require you to admitting I sent the transaction, but at least you'd be telling the truth

At this point, I'm not even sure you didn't find a way to clear out your account/set up a new one before BAS went in there. If you're crazy enough to let a stranger have all that information, then I wouldn't put it past you. Definitely not out of the question at this point
