Same day weigh-ins.
That's how it's done at jitz and grappling tourneys, and it needs to spread worldwide. I've weighed in literally 2 min before a match.
You could just do what we did while I wrestled and weigh in the same day as your match/tourney. I think its better this way anyway, your training at the weight you plan to be at fight night or close to it. I think it would be much safer long-term and probably would discourage more fighter to drop weight right before a fight because they don't have as much recovery time.
