I don't see how this guy comes back after this season. During some point in this year long suspension him and the Celtics will part ways....will have to work out the financial side.

He will be a head coach again but just somewhere else. Unless more continues to come out, in which this could be a career ender.

Agree

Don’t see him tucking his tail and taking the punishment. Went finals his first year as a coach, former player, been around the league forever.

He knows he fucked up but rampant infidelity not exactly unique in pro sports.

So much speculation out there, Celtics not helping with their handling of the situation either.
They are complaining about the women who work for them being dragged through the mud when they are the reason for it happening. lol

Celtics FO looks really bad with what is going on. They are not going to say anything except
everything about Udoka. They are being very vague on any facts.

Udoka is not coming back, this suspension is just so they can negotiate the buyout of his contract
They were not going to fire him right away as they would have been on the hook for the full contract
So the lawyers made them do it this way.

Now Celtics are saying and treating the woman as a victim. Not sure as supposedly it was consensual, at least to start with. Then they added Udoka said unwanted comments to the woman.

This is ugly!

I’d take him in Cleveland with a young core tbh

Im not convinced Bickerstaff is a good coach

Seems harsh, but having an internal affair must mean something more. I guess that's against organizational policy

Maybe Brad will come back for a year

Looks like they’ve elevated someone from the bench. Missoula?

They should put Brad back if they think they can win this year

Remember Adam and Eve. You can have virtually any fruit in the garden. But there are some apples you just can't take a bite of.

Dumb. Dumb. Dumb on Udoka's part.

But as a Celtic fan this isn't good for our future. It took those young guys a while but they finally bought into his expectations and it paid off big time. Yea, they fell short. But they are young. They were gonna be right back there this year. Now????

It was going to be a tough hill to climb with or without Udoka. Conference should be a little bit better. Philly should have a little more cohesion, Milwaukee added a nice role piece plus they have Middleton back, Cavs with Mitchell, Raptors another year under their belt. Gonna be tougher, and they aren't gonna sneak up on anyone

But I don't think like losing Udoka is a deal breaker for them if you're high on them already

They improved too. A couple of key pickups, and they lost nothing

Plus a healthy Robert Williams will make a big difference

The Cs didn't come together until early January. That's because they bought into him demanding that they play both sides of the court and share the ball. That's basically what every coach wants but he got them to buy in midway through the season. He kinda choked as the Cs got deeper into the playoffs and no longer trusted his bench. That was the Celtic undoing. Those starters were gassed when each of those Golden State games were on the line. But he was a rookie coach. I'm sure he learned right along with his players. They believed in him. So important in the NBA and not common.

Oh well. On to the next guy.

Stick a fork in this team, they are doing nothing this year. Tatum/Brown lobbied hard for Udoka,
they got him. Tatum grew last year, with Udoka gone, I am not so sure about him and or Brown.

Honestly I would not be Surprised if Tatum had a bad year and told the Celtics he did not want to play here anymore, Brown also. Anything is possible, think this team will be doa this year.

Think last year's final will be it for this team to be honest. Think this team will go down, Tatum/Brown depart as they are done her and the franchise tail spins.

This could be the beginning of the end for this ownership group

The players will play for themselves, they know they have championship possibilities

They will not roll over, and the young blood is not going anywhere

Celtics still best odds to win it all with GS
Odds droped slightly
They were slightly better odds than GS a week ago

Just took a look at Allison Fester...closer to Uncle Fester than a good looking broad.

Williams gone for maybe 12 weeks…his knee again…

I saw that after I posted, go figure

But as long as he's at full strength when it matters most

It’ll take time for them to figure out how to distribute the minutes with Brogdon

I think they could really use one more shooter.

Williams will be out for a while but hopefully he can be healthy in the spring and stay that way
