I have read the introduction (as I posted in the other thread where you broach this topic), and am very interested in reading more.

But poor, innocent Saddam knew goddamn well about those Al Qaeda running around in his police state, and he supported them, idealogically and undoubtably financially as well. He harbored them.

He threw out the UN weapons inspectors in 1998. He's been in violation of UN resolutions for some 11 years. Explain to me again how Saddam is an innocent victim here.
