remember were talking about the late 1870's. you don't believe the word just showed up in the english language 50 years later. I do question the frequency of profanity in the Deadwood show. Milch is over doing it. These were crude men who illegally took over an Indian settlement. The amount of prostitutes in Deadwood is an historical fact.
