Sorry as this is not the place for it, but what legal action can they take??Guys I just received a message from the higher ups and have been informed that there are some services that can't be posted here anymore if u look at the top of page one today u will see a list of cappers from BigAl.com effective immediately none of those cappers can be posted from now on for what it's worth they gave threatened legal action if they continue to be posted so I guess if I see any I will have to delete them
As I see it, a sports service can cut anyone off if they suspect that he is leaking the plays, but as far as successfully suing a gamblingSorry as this is not the place for it, but what legal action can they take??
I have heard the same shit for too many years to count, and if any legal action was successful, someone please document it.
They can sue for copyright infringements for posting the writeups, but as far as simply giving out the names of the teams they
are picking, I doubt it unless something has changed.
Perhaps there is an attorney in the audience who can comment on this!!
You may not successfully sue somebody but you can SUE and the cost of going to court and possibly in Big Al's home state will be high whether you win or not. Probably not what the RX wants to do..As I see it, a sports service can cut anyone off if they suspect that he is leaking the plays, but as far as successfully suing a gambling
site for posting the plays/names of teams only, I will believe it when I see it!!
Is TheRX, SBR, EOG and Covers all owned by same conglomerate? All of them really cracked down on sharing of service plays. But some of the lesser known forums still allow it, and/or always allowed it.Guys I just received a message from the higher ups and have been informed that there are some services that can't be posted here anymore if u look at the top of page one today u will see a list of cappers from BigAl.com effective immediately none of those cappers can be posted from now on for what it's worth they gave threatened legal action if they continue to be posted so I guess if I see any I will have to delete them.
They must be losing lots of money. I can see how posting writeups is illegal and would violate copyright laws but how would posting a pick be illegal...it's just their opinion. Saying so and so recommends Iowa State +7 is now illegal? Rx should not be scared.... no court of law would say that is illegal.Guys I just received a message from the higher ups and have been informed that there are some services that can't be posted here anymore if u look at the top of page one today u will see a list of cappers from BigAl.com effective immediately none of those cappers can be posted from now on for what it's worth they gave threatened legal action if they continue to be posted so I guess if I see any I will have to delete them
That is why I asked whether there is an attorney at the site who could weigh in and/or the site should consult its own attorney(I assumeYou may not successfully sue somebody but you can SUE and the cost of going to court and possibly in Big Al's home state will be high whether you win or not. If one of these guys sued me, I would file a counterclaim to recoup all my losses from relying on such poor picks. They ought to disclose/disclaim any sold picks with the "this is for entertainment only" tagline. Docs and their guys, for example. The guarantee of "if our picks are losers, we'll give you more for free" is laughable. Where's the FTC when you need them. You may not successfully sue somebody but you can SUE and the cost of going to court and possibly in Big Al's home state will be high whether you win or not. One last comment from me.Big Al doesn't even need to hire an attorney to fight the case I believe he is an attorney. It'll pass. Hopefully...
That is why I asked whether there is an attorney at the site who could weigh in and/or the site should consult its own attorney(I assume
that they have one) for a more informed opinion!!
It's dead man. Every reputable service doesn't allow their plays posted anymore.what happened to service plays only in this thread
Doesn't ALLOW? When did they given you permission to repost their picks? They never have, and never will. Picks are opinions, there's nothing they can do legally besides retract your subscription without refund. It's dead man. Every reputable service doesn't allow their plays posted anymore.
