Cubs/Pirates game 2- under 7.5 3* - two decent pitchers, two tired teams, and home plate umpire who is 4-12 O/U this season. With Toby Basner calling balls and strikes the under is 5-1 when the total is 7.5 or lower, 9-1 when 8 or lower. Also with Basner a home favorite of -120 or less is 4-1. Think this game ends 4-3 pirates win

Blue Jays TT over 4.5 3* - day off and Jays bats have hit Teheran hard in the past
Royals/Indians F5 over 4 3* - medlen and tomlin will find a way to give up runs
Red Sox/Orioles over 8.5 2* - this game has 6-4 written all over it with Boston giving it up late
Padres/Dback under 8.5 2* - this game could go 2 ways but I think it'll be a pitching duel
Reds/Giants over 7.5 2* (possible upgrade to 3 or 4 before game time) - got the right umpire, and some questionable pitching

When the total is 8.5 and eddings is behind the plate, the over is 6-0 this season and has only been higher than 8.5 in 1 game with him behind the plate. Kelly has tuned up his game but the O's hammered him the first 2 times they saw him. On the other side you have Jimenez who has been struggling. Should see some runs.. Or at least I hope. Really liking the Reds/Giants over.. both teams have been hitting well and it's a potential slugfest. As for the Jays, i'm taking ML because i think if they hit that well then they should win it ... -160 decent enough odds. GL

El T, regarding the Frisco game; wind is blowing out about 15mph which is an added benefit and something that has made a deciding factor for me the last two games there. I'm on it. Good luck to all.

I was waiting on some clubhouse info which I got and considering the wind, Andy fletcher behind the plate, numbers lining up, and that only 1 game this year between these 2 clubs went under 7.5, I'm upgrading this to a 4*

Thanks for the picks. Starters did their job in the Padres game. 2 Pads relievers come in and give up three walks, a triple and a home run to the first five batters they face. I'm also on the Giants. Bullpens are just killing me tonight.
