First game this year btwn these teams, EC lost at Depaul 55-42 due to fact they failed to hit a shot in last 7:14 of game. EC beats Marquette + S. Florida at home, has 4 returning starters, is 3-2 ats at home as a fav vs depaul's 3-4 ats road dog. Moreover, Ec averages 71.3 at home vs Depaul 57 on the road. People say it on a lot of things, not just someone dunking. Like if I went 10-0 someone might say he "don't play" as is to say he doesn't mess around.

The visitng team who was GETTING points won by 13?!!? Wow. Oh well I don't believe in making fun of losing picks they happen to all of us so I won't say anything.
Could be a sign that the tout shouldn't be putting his plays in with the salt of the forum guys, the Rubber Room guys. You may suck some people in on the other sections but good luck fooling these people my friends....

Didn't mean to demean this topic, personally I think it's about the only topic worth reading regularly on this board at this point. I'm just waiting for Baseball season to get the real gambling happening and get my pics up in here. I definately have read just about every post on this board and the supporting boards over the last 2 years, just don't feel so inclined to post too often. I fully realize that stats, trends, etc only matter to a small extent and the real game lies in the lines and what the books do to make their cash. Massive respect to everyone involved and invited on this topic. Lets keep the good times coming. In reference to the Jake/Tout thread, I figure i'm about 6th/7th grade in knowledge at this point, with high school and college a long, long ways to go. Glad to see the professors like to meet and share in this topic.

You didn't demean anything Sharp, that was hilarious. We have to run the touts out of here because they are jealous of folks who win enough not to have to sell their plays. Think about it, if a tout could win why would he be forced to sell his plays instead of playing them himself? Don't ever send money to someone to tell you what to play. Doubt you will get the same number he bet it at plus why is he giving you the play instead of betting it himself? All it ends up being is extra juice you are paying trying to win. Not much chance of that happening in my opinion when a tout gets involved.
Anyway glad you are around my friend. Like you I love baseball but there is good money to be made in hoops. Also some of these guys kick ass in golf and other sports. The fact you say you have a lot to learn already lets me know you are on the right track. With that attitude it will come easy, the hard part is a person believing there is lots to learn they don't know. I learn something new almost every day and been doing it for along time.

Jwunder - thanks for the good word. I told you where I have been posting my plays besides what I post here. Usually I either post my NBA one here or the college one here and the other one(s) I don't post here I post across the street. Been holding my own I guess you could say of late.
BTW you are being modest as you can more than hold your own in the capping world. I looked at the Wednesday RR thread and you were right on the nose with your Ball State play. Nice call. I also like to play good rebounding teams that are halfway decent shooting teams.
