And reason #84308403840384039843048300 why the supposed cure is significantly worse than the virus.

The diagnosis of tuberculosis being down 75% is NOT because people are not getting it.

Can't believe that even needs to be said.

It’s not just that the coronavirus has diverted scientific attention from TB, HIV and malaria. The lockdowns, particularly across parts of Africa, Asia and Latin America, have raised insurmountable barriers to patients who must travel to obtain diagnoses or drugs, according to interviews with more than two dozen public health officials, doctors and patients worldwide.

Fear of the coronavirus and the shuttering of clinics have kept away many patients struggling with HIV, TB and malaria, while restrictions on air and sea travel have severely limited delivery of medications to the hardest-hit regions.

About 80% of tuberculosis, HIV and malaria programs worldwide have reported disruptions in services, and 1 in 4 people living with HIV have reported problems with gaining access to medications, according to U.N. AIDS. Interruptions or delays in treatment may lead to drug resistance, already a formidable problem in many countries.

In India, home to about 27% of the world’s TB cases, diagnoses have dropped by nearly 75% since the pandemic began. In Russia, HIV clinics have been repurposed for coronavirus testing.

Malaria season has begun in West Africa, which has 90% of malaria deaths in the world, but the normal strategies for prevention — distribution of insecticide-treated bed nets and spraying with pesticides — have been curtailed because of lockdowns.

Will Coronavirus EVER kill the same number of people in a year that Tuberculosis kills every year?

Unlikely.

Let that sink in.

Seriously. Let that sink in. Tuberculosis kills more people in a year than Coronavirus ever will. Yet, Tuberculosis is no big deal, and Coronavirus has to change the world as we know it.

In 2017, the most recent data available, 515 deaths in the United States were attributed to TB.

In 2020 Covid has killed 150K and projected to hit 200K before the end of the year.

People with certain conditions and or weak immune systems are more at risk of serious illness or death due to C-19.

What's to sink in? Do you have any solid point to make, or just fantasy spooky ghost type of remarks.

Who said TB is no big deal?

Are TB patients in the high risk class of serious illness or death from C-19 infections?

You live in Canada. You don't have freedom of speech, moron.

Irrelevant.

Who said anything about Canada. We are on an internet forum.

I have just as much freedom of speech as you do on this forum.

In fact the other day you were all for freedom of speech. Yet here you are trying to get someone banned.

And repeatedly posting in my threads "reported for spamming".

Let’s worry about the US first. And right now we are a shithole country thanks to #FatNixon.

Flu deaths are down due to lockdowns, masks, social distancing, etc.

Likewise with certain other communicable diseases such as C-19 and (the topic of this thread) tuberculosis.

Also car accident deaths have greatly decreased. Probably street crimes too.
