Note that China continues to build many, many coal fired power plants. And also note that those carbon emissions represents economic growth and power.
Climate change is real and how we logically handle it is real too. Every storm, lightening strike, great lakes rising, great lakes falling, floods and droughts has been attributed to climate change and that is insane. Even if the US went full Amish tomorrow the carbon from China and India would continue to keep co2 levels up in the atmosphere. This "panic" reaction is suicide.

My belief is Trump would have never allowed this meaningless war that has caused hundred thousands of lives and forced over 5 million fleeing refugees. And has cost billions!
Ukraine had over 40% of its population speaking Russian. They were heavily populated in the East and South. In the East fighting has been on going for years between those who favor Russia over those who do not like Russia. Zelensky received a call from Joe Biden in early February, 2021. Zelensky's popularity in his country had been shrinking fast and was at 40%. The next day after that call Zelensky shutdown the three Russian TV stations. In May he had his political opposition leader Viktor Medvedchuk arrested. (Kinda sounds familiar to what is trying to be done here) Ukraine wants to join NATO.
