BFL, 61% of Americans couldn't come up with $1000.00 if they needed it. I know that's unthinkable to many of us, but that's a real stat. What do you think those people are going to do with their gubment check when they get it?

I can only hope they're smart with it. Not much more anyone can do.

And I'm also concerned with the inflated money supply.

Oh by the way, of course you know that state and federal governments primarily rely on income taxes. There will be a huge shortfall for all their budgets. The states will look to the federal government to bail them out. More printed money.

I'm really not sure of all the problems this printing money stuff causes. I'm not that smart. I'll let the money guys handle that question (PatsFan, Snoop) But I could sure see a wave of inflation. I have already noticed food inflation.

The POTUS lasted all of 50 days

Announced the WH Covid Task Force on Feb 26

And on Apr 16, abandons command and dumps all responsibility to the Governors

Painting the libs in their own corner. Media screaming about an authoritarian president. Puts it on the states. They agree. State rights......gonna open up other important laws that the SCOTUS will hear regarding state rights. Chess game

And thankfully I don't live in a state with a Governor like that bitch in Michigan.

Kicking the can down the road eventually will hurt us, no way around it.....& as you stated, inflation is probably the first step.

The Feds immediate concern is actually deflation because of overall lower demand...so they say.
But once inflation hits, it can take off “like a rocket.”

heh

It remains a close race as to which analogy is most delightful

Trump as an advanced chess master vs Trump as Diogenes wandering thru 'the swamp'

By putting this on the states he takes away culpability as each governor will make their own decisions on what and how to do this

If it blows up somewhere then that governor fucked up and owns it...

My man, Dave, putting a nail in the subject.
[FONT=Verdana,Tahoma,Arial,Calibri,Geneva,sans-serif]Mich I've been in this world of ours for quite some time. I haven't seen it all but
I've seen most of it. When your own mortality is creeping closer and closer you can
do 1 of 2 things.

You can curl up in a ball and say woe is me or you can say fuck you I'm not going
down without a fight.

I absolutly refuse to accept the inevitable. When my time comes it comes.

Until then I'll continue to live life to it's fullest.

At this point there is no more small shit to worry about.

Damn the torpedoes! Full speed ahead.

COVID took away my chapel. But they can't take away my prayer. You're still near the top of the list, Dave.

Keep fighting, brother.
