Speaking your mind isn't very valuable when you aren't actually saying anything besides vague populist rhetoric and platitudes to fire people up.
If he said something nuanced and thoughtful that I agreed with, I'd give him credit for that. I'm not just going to support a outsider because he has some swagger over a politician that I actually agree with.
I feel like you probably know Trump isn't the answer but he is a necessary way for you and millions of others to voice your discontent over the status quo environment. That doesn't mean we want him to be president. Retweeting calling a respected journalist a bimbo? Saying a former POW was captured and he's not a fan of that? I mean he exhibits no class whatsoever. We're talking the highest office in the land here.
Maybe if Bill Gates were running then that would be something to entertain the idea of, but he isn't. Not yet anyway....
