If these early reports are true, sounds like a pretty shitty deal. Still moving half of the jobs to Mexico and keeping half in Indiana for $7 million in tax breaks. If the true, which certainly may not be the case, not much of a punishment for threatening to move jobs outside the U.S., and sounds like Carrier/UTX made out quite well in this negotiation.

Hopefully there is more to the deal or there are some inaccuracies in this early reporting.

Obama have did nothing, now we got to get rid of that stupid obamacare thing......................what has he did for you, did you get one of his free phone or a job at the local hamburger joint

No president can change my life......things are too good for me. I worry about people less fortunate than me. That's what concerns me. Trump has surrounded himself with billionaires.....not good for the little guy

Great job Donald. He just opened the door for corporate extortion. Which shady deal will get him impeached?

he continues to use slight of hand to fool his basket of deplorables.

Can't wait till another company says they are moving everything to Mexico unless they get special deals paid by the taxpayers.

more corporate welfare!!! Yippee!!!!

Pretty funny Vit, going to start calling you Clinton-Dix.

Let's just dump $530 million into companies like Solyndra and numerous others. The current president spent billions of taxpayer's dollars on political paybacks under the guise of the 2009 ARRA. You guys lost because of statements like the one you made above.

Time to stop insulting the intelligence of the Rx membership, you should know better by now. By the way, you can get the last word in, I know it means everything to you. I refuse to discuss politics in a non political forum.

States compete with subsidies/tax breaks for industry all the time, some of the deals work out and some don't. With most taxes paid going to the federal government, you just can't really compete on cost of doing business as much as you should be able to so you have to "grease the palms" so to speak.

Until we shrink the size of the federal government and restore responsibility and revenue back to the states then this is how states will have to lure businesses.

It's not remotely capitalism, but what can you do? It's the system we have.

Uhhhhh.....you just did discuss politics in non political forum.

Cmon...these rx trump voters are bordering on retardation. If obama ran.....he would have won with ease.....any sane person knows this. The dem candidate was the problem......combine that with Comey...and that's what lost the election.
