BM/5D are great sites for what they are but nobody is playing on them over a publicly traded US company unless they start offering -105 or do something to add value to their product.

I assure you if situation arises they would offer -105 or at least -107

If the books are offering -105 then I see the point. It would be like a pinnacle for US players again.

nah I mean that is what the offshores would have to do to compete with a US run online book that is a subsidiary of a major company. Otherwise 95% of people placing bets are going with the US book

The onus would be on the offshores to add value

Offshores have ZERO game with US players if it becomes legal. Anyone who argues otherwise is foolish.

You can bet on DraftKings and FanDuel all you want, but because of some stupid rule you can't place a wager at either website on 1 specific game. For instance, those DFS companies didn't have a Super Bowl contest. Instead they had to pair the Super Bowl with the Pro Bowl a week before. So dumb. This has nothing to do with anything but I figured I'd mention it. Gambling should be legalized and taxed but I doubt it happens anytime soon in the US. Fingers crossed though. It makes too much sense not to, I just don't have high hopes after a decade of being involved in the industry.

This the argument I just don't get. I can go spend $100 on scratch offs but can't bet a game?

Why do some books refuse US business and other books do not?

The owners of the offshore books can be arrested once they enter the US if they are taking action from the states.

This has happened in the past.

The reality is you never know. Years ago there was a hard line stance on pot and illegal immigration. People would drop their shit and run. Now you can buy pot in a store and if you're an illegal and you get caught by a cop, the cop says have a nice day, lol.
