Arrived at 8pm last night.

I upgraded my comp to a suite for like $40 more per night and it was a good move. The room is beautiful and quite spacious (I also got to boot the Mrs out to the living room to watch TV while I lie in bed...she wakes me up often on our trips doing that). The front desk attendant informed me there is no maid service, room service, or ice. If you need extra towels, you need to call for them. Not a problem for us but including it for information purposes.

I got bad info on the face covering policy (or they changed their policies since I got the info...probably the latter). Face shields are not ok. You must wear a mask (strike one). Casino was fairly busy last night. No crap tables had a spot available. Tables were all $25 minimums. That's a little rich for my blood since I'm normally playing 3 numbers with max odds. Looked around to find a Pai Gow table to bide my time, but that table had a $50 minimum. Left the wife to play her video poker and went to bed. Woke up at 5:30 this morning, hoping things might have settled down. This time, they had 7 total tables open. The 2 craps tables were now a $50 minimum...ugh! I'm starting to wonder if this is going to be a non-gaming trip. I'm looking at other attractions right now (maybe I'll take in the WWII Museum). Not a great start. Dinner reservations at GW Fins tonight.

Cut it down to two numbers with 2x odds instead of 5x, you have 150 out instead of 180, maybe place or lay the third number for $ 25

Just find a way to make due and have fun. It's about attitude, bitch

On a sidebar, hopefully those were Saturday night tables and things improve today

At least GW Fins is open :)

Looks like we play craps the same way and agree, $25 is too rich for my blood

also a fan of pai gow. I do recall 1 time playing at Harrah’s $50 pai gow like 10am (that was even to rich for my blood) on a weekday and this was 20 years ago.

good luck

915 in the morning. Just got back to the casino after picking up a cup of coffee with my wife. Total of 4 tables open (3 BJ and 1 Roulette). Can't even try your strategy Willie because 0 crap tables are open. Alrighty then. Sightseeing it is!

Venetian Las Vegas and Red Rock...face shields acceptable. Caesar employee tells me ahead of time same rules apply. Sorry to hear you're out of the loop. Go away troll boy.

I have reservations this coming Friday at GW Fins. Good luck in the casino. I play mostly vid poker so I know what I am getting myself into. Good move on the suite. 2 trips ago they tried getting me to pay to upgrade to a suite, I said no, and I ended up getting a suite anyway. Sometimes I gamble at the option of paying to upgrade.

There was probably a decent shot I would have gotten a complimentary upgrade, but for that low of a price, I'd rather have the sure thing.

I went to that In N Out over there. Honestly I don’t get the hype about In N Out. Burger was solid but small and the fries are doodoo. The hype isn’t real

There is no IN N Out in New Orleans or anywhere else in Louisiana .
The closest one to New Orleans is Dallas Texas

....

i told you to read the website

https://www.caesars.com/harrahs-new-orleans/hotel/health-and-saftey

[/LIST]
you chose to ignore the advice to make yourself feel better.

And as I mentioned in many of my posts regarding casinos, there are many inconsistencies. You obviously have not been in a casino so you wouldn't know that. Rather than rely on someone that could only refer to a website, I spoke with someone that actually worked at a Caesars property (seems logical to me). The fact of the matter is, the sign currently in their lobby today actually states "masks OR face covering". I asked the guard about it and he said they chose to do that in New Orleans even though the Governor did not require only masks. I'm going to assume the employee that gave me the info on the same day you said look at the website, did not have the rule in place at the property he worked at (also a Caesars property). I made the best of it. Stop being so butt hurt just because I asked someone that actually worked there.
