The fans in Detroit gave him a welcoming "Bill, Bill. Bill" chant. Washington's GM, Peterson, who learned to ply his trade under Bill's tutelage showered Belichick with gratitude, and Aaron Rogers (who I really am not a fan of) interrupted McAfee's questioning to take the time to emphasize that Billy B was the "real GOAT".
I concur with all those accolades. The Krafts soiled their legacy badly the way they let the best ever go.
And how about the irony of the dopes who drafted Michael Pennix with the eighth pick of the draft after signing Kirk Cousins to an 180 mill contract (100 mill guaranteed) less than six weeks ago, are the same dopes who told Arthur Blank not to sign Bill Belichick as their next head coach. Dopes. Dopes. Dopes.
Can't wait for Billy B to sign with a team who just needs his coaching to get over the top and make all these fools who passed on him (including Kraft) look like the fools that they are. Man, I hope he signs with an AFC East team and comes back and haunts the Pats 'till he decides to give it all up!!
