Just a word to those that look at the picks( I know probably not many) I am in a small slump here and will be scaling back on the number of plays. Most likely a max of three in a day. Want to regain the feel for how the season is progressing. BOL to everyone and I will get this turned around hopefully sooner rather than later.

Heavy favorites give me heavy headaches
I've been wagering for 40 years and through trial and error I have come to the following conclusion: Don't lay over $1.30 in any sport. The way to be successful in the long run is playing dogs and short favorites.
By losing that -2.07 favorite it will now take you three winners to overcome it and show a profit. As good as you are, you don't need to put yourself in that position. Life is too short. Good luck and thanks for sharing your talent.

I will chime in on this first .... I understand why people do not lay juice. I understand why people love playing dogs. The reality is in a game there is one winner and one loser. Taking dogs are worthless if they don't win. The "value" plays just don't make much sense to me. Just pick the winner take the price given, or shop for a price. Not Value.
Secondly and more seriously... For those who have followed this thread, you may have noticed I have been less active and even just not playing. At times things in life become too hectic and you have to put everything else on hold. Family medical matters have done just that and I will not be posting or even betting for a while.
