punctured a tire ...grabbed a teammate's tire and back with the peloton...which is SEVEN minutes behind the breakaway group...70 km to go...can they hang on?

they now have 15 riders in the breakaway , building a small army-- can it the Anti-Team Sky army......:)

Van Avermaet , again, has NO teammates with him. This group clearly working together

Froome is back in Peleton so no big problem there. Obviously Greg Van Avermaet is not their big fear yet as they are letting him get away. 2 big climbs ahead and I would think the Peleton will eat into The breakaways lead. The race is going to get serious soon.

It’s not a huge surprise that the main GC contenders would let a breakaway group win this stage as many had predicted it would be a good stage for a breakaway. Still lots of racing ahead as the fun hasn’t even started yet !

Yes I think there’s a good chance they will hold on but by how much as I expect the margin will be coming down quite a bit. I’m watching more whether someone will attack in the main GC group.

I predicted that stage 12 will be the type of stage for a huge move by GC CONTENDERS to happen. Let’s see how today’s finish ends.

I have a feeling the Sky have been biding their time and will now try a Mountain stage blitz and attempt to put a big gap into their opponents. I recall Froome doing some monster mountain stages.

Sky is in great shape right now. Today’s stage showed the reason why they have no fear of Greg Van Avermaet. When the stage got serious, Thomas, Froome and MOST of the rest of the main GC contenders smoked Greg big time on the last 2 climbs ! His lead over the Peleton was somewhere in the 5 or 6 minute range and he ended up ONLY like a 2 minute gain on the Peleton. That showed everyone he’s not going to be in Yellow after stage 11 and certainly not after stage 12. Gutsy Tour for sure but there’s no way the GC cyclists would have left him escape to a 8 minute lead IF he was a real contender. Uran who finished second last year was today’s big loser and I expect he’s not going to be a factor in this year Tour. Tomorrow will be a tougher day ! Today’s stage was won by Julian Alaphilippe with Taaramae second andmIzagirre third.

really disappointed with Movistar, geez-- velvarde, landa, quintana - what more do you want?No attempt to even spook Team Sky... guess they r waiting ...for what...put in all on the line wed? your ONLY HOPE IS IN THE FUCKIN MOUNTAINS!!!!! Sky showed their tremendous depth, 6 strong leading the peloton

kermit,Van Amermaet is done with. Likely tomorrow, if not wed for sure... Was just nuts today, he just kinda said-'fuck it, im taking off'.... with 80 km left .......and zero teammates in sight.....lol. His ride today was just awesome!!.....he's spent. DONE...lol
