with players shuttling in and out of the majors, all the teams are fairly equal.
price could have dominated liriano-style (and the books were putting out silly, not-even-close lines) but in AAA ball, any night can be be an L no matter how good a starter is. if the books 'knew their shit', they wouldnt be limiting action. theyd be more than willing to take any and all action. they knew this kind of stuff is just an action-generator, so theyll gladly pay out the occasional 'freebie(s)' to get money into their books that might not otherwise have come their way.
