I appreciate your expression of concern for me. As much as I enjoy betting on games, capping games out and providing writeups on them, and sharing them with others at three different forums, alot of the time that I have been using to do this has caused me to neglect other aspects of things in my life. I was planning to get to these other things, as having balance in ones life is very important. But due to the terrible start I had at the start of this BB season, I decide to focus alot of my time and energY on making a strong comeback, and then would get back to those other things. Well if you saw yesterdays post where I posted my Feb's record, I have done what I set out to accomplish. So now before those other parts of my life gets out of control, I must now attend to them. I will still try to get my plays out when I can, and I am sorry for posting so late, but now because my schedule is getting fuller with other things, I have to readjust my time spent capping games and acquiring information on plays. I will try my best to get them out as early as I can, but I gotta let you know that some days it maybe impossible. I am letting you know this, because you were kind enough to show some concern for me, and I simply do not want to leave you hanging. That is not my style. If I cannot get my plays out or in time, their are alot of guys who are very solid quality cappers who I at times follow myself and I recommend you do the same. Some of them are NyReb, Omaha, Ted, Allstar, Kapusta, thetexaskid, just to name a few. GL and Aloha CC.

Lowtide, thanks for your kind and understanding words. Sometimes I feel like I am letting people down, but I know that they will understand as well. And about the Tide, all I can say is GREAT FREAKIN JOB. I like saying BAMA ROLLS, I think I heard it said so much that I come to expect it from them, only not against Hawaii, lol.(just joking) GL tomorrow and Aloha CC.
Hey, man, I was just relating to a lot of the things you're saying. I used to do write-ups, and still do for college football because I have more time to get them written. Had to give them up in basketball, though, just couldn't get it done everyday. Very time consuming. That's why I just post my plays now, except for a brief comment now and then. Anyway, if you don't have time to do your whole thing, I've love to still see your plays, with or without write-ups. You are just very solid and consistent, and it's always good to know what teams you're on.

There's not much I can say, everybody seems to have beat me to it. I'm glad to hear you are alright and taking care of business. I'm actually feeling what your saying because I have put my investing ahead of the more important things in my life. Maybe I'll follow in your example and not put this at the top of my "To Do" list. First post.....been following this forum for a couple months & have made some $$$ doing so, so let me add my thanks too. I'd just add one point--and this goes for all the solid cappers here who are good enough to share their daily thoughts & insights on games. Once you've established that you know your stuff & do your homework, the write-ups (while definitely appreciated/great to read/and helpful) are NOT as big a deal as the picks.
So, co-cap, I guess I'm saying that if you continue to post plays, if you feel as confident about them as you do now, you've earned the credibility to just post them, skip the write-ups, and let the numbers speak for themselves. Just a thought, & thanks again.

As much as we appreciate all the hard work you put into this forum, it may be best to take a step away. Don't worry about us. There come times in ones life where YOU are more important then us. Take a step back, relax and figure out the right course to take, whatever the problems may be. Most importantly is like you said, focus your time THERE, not here. When you get back on the right track, we will be here waiting patiently for your return.

I haven't been reading a lot of threads lately and just decided to take a glance at yours today only to learn of your current situation. Cap, I think you already know how I feel about what you do for this forum and everyone is clearly expressing those same feelings. That being said, this business can wear you down rapidly when you give so much. If you need time to attend to other matters, they should get your most immediate attention first and foremost. If you are able to take care of those things that are important in life and still find time for this forum that would be great. However, if you find that you are spending too much time and effort in determining your plays, posting write-ups, and responding to everyone, then protect yourself first. The forum will always be here if and when you're ready. You don't have to prove anything to anyone. If you decide to post your plays, then do so. No write-up is necessary to justify a selection. If you want to provide a write-up on a particular game, then do that as well provided it doesn't wear you down. The members and viewers that follow you already know the work that you put behind your plays and they believe in you. Most importantly, take care of yourself, your health, family matters and anything else that needs your attention. Please take care my friend and if you need to talk, you have my e-mail address.
