Remember Gang,..the Pro's use the play action pass a lot...and when you got a college team like BC who is set on using it to a T, it can be used to a big advantage for them, especially against teams like UCONN who is a flash and dash type of team or a team who isnt use to seeing that type of plays being used...PLAY ACTION PASS in college ball is simply money baby!

Thats what I like...another EZ WINNER for all who followed me to open the Weekend...Write-Up seem to have been right on as well...I am glad I could help whomever, especially to get off of this UCONN team who is a bit over-rated in my opinion...Gang something I do, which is of course what I do and in no way am I telling you to follow it, is to toss out the majority of each teams first game of the season...I dont think that it is a good indication of how good or how bad a team is or will be...In the first game, there are a lot things(many intangibles and tangible) working in the mix and different outcomes should be expected because of it...Dont get caught in Vegas's trap of knowing that the public will buy into the first games and how the teams played...ie: UCONN looked like the bomb in the first game, but laid an egg at home vs a poor Duke team....Also, BC played poor vs a poor Ball St team, but solid vs a better more improved Penn St team...yet they didnt get the respect that they should of, being installed as a dog at home to a team they beat two straight times(Penn St)...and everyone was instead talking about how this UCONN is on a Div 1 win streak since joining the Division...be aware of this public perception regarding certain teams and remember that the past is the past, and sometimes it is a good indication of what is to occur in the future, being that everything that happens is similar or very close to the what happened in the past...If not, then its time to do your homework on the teams nexts game and opponent and treat them separately...
In this one, the public was all over UCONN as the line fell all the way down to -6.5 by gametime...I felt that in this one, a lot of people were not capping the game out looking at the matchups and style of play between the two, not to mention where they were playing at, and thus this led to a lot of people to side with a UCONN team who many arent aware of havent ever beaten this BC team in 11 tries...After capping this one out, I clearly seen that BC had the Big advantage on the Off and clearly on the Defensive side of the ball...Plus, with the return of certain players on Offense in certain positions, and with the type of Offense that BC is known to run, I knew definately that UCONN's Def will be in for a big shock...A lot of people were calling for a UCONN outright upset, but if you look more clearly to who they defeated in the previous two years, and especially when these defeats occurred...ie, last years blowout of WF...You could see some things that didnt particularly say UCONN can dominate most.
Anyways, I hope that the information and insights is being of some assistance to you all...Also, I hope the sharing of information on how the games played out is also helping you out...I will always try my best to share what I know with you all, in hopes that we can all learn and become better at what we love to do...I believe that there is enough to go around for all of us to enjoy and share.....With that said, lets kick more Bookie Ass Baby!...GL and Aloha CC.

A good thing to also remember is to look who is coaching a team...remember, if he(coach) has been successful in the Pros or around successful Coaches, its a good chance that he will be successful in College and especially vs inferior Coaches....The Pros is all about finding and exploiting a teams weakness with their strengths...in this one, ex NFL coach who runs the play action game plan, I saw would be able to exploit the Uconn defense and use it to his advantage especially since their primarily a run first offense and Uconn would definately think that all they need to do is stack the box, which they did, and they were caught...I think they also forgot that BC returned a deep WR corp and QB Petterson is a very accurate passers...This accuracy comes with time given to him from the Huge Offensive line, but it also comes from running the play action pass with a lot of receivers getting open as the defense bites to stop the run, and not so much on QB Petterson's ability to throw the ball...He definately is no where near the talent of UCONN's QB but this type of Offensive scheme can make him seem like he's better....Heres another perfect example, remember the Ohio St team with its shitty passing game and QB(can remember his name) but they went on to win the National Title that year vs Miami...almost the same kind of Offensive schemes were executed in that one...but of course solid Defensive play is also a big reason for this type of Offenses success as well....JMO...Aloha CC.
