1-Bama
2-Oregon
3-Fla St
4-Miss St
5-Baylor
6-Ohio St
7-TCU
8-UCLA
9-Georgia
10-AZ
11-Wisky
12-ASU
I guess my rankings now would be:
1. Alabama
2. Oregon
3. Mississippi state
4. Baylor?????(who really knows)
the 4th spot is a crapshoot right now... It could be tcu, Florida state or Ohio state but I'm leaving TCU out because baylor beat them, leaving Ohio state out because they had a heart attack again today against a very depleted and stumbling indiana at home. And finally florida state, wellllll..... Here's a serious question i want to have people answer so I can get some perception other than my own...
set aside the rankings, the committee's ranking format and criteria and all that other crap...... Does anyone truly feel like Florida state is one of the four best teams right now? Being undefeated doesn't count As an argument in this case, at least not in my opinion. They have nearly lost 4 games against average to below average opponents. Their defense is porous, their offense is a roller coaster most of the games until the fourth quarter and its all in a weak conference. If they get in because they go undefeated they will have a chance to beat anybody because its football and anything can happen, but can you imagine them playing oregon, bama, miss. State, tcu or baylor????? It's one thing to come back from 17 points against louisville, but that's not gonna happen against teams that can score 50+ every game at will....but what do I know. What do you guys think?

It probably will not end up that way, but the Committee is just looking for an excuse to get Ohio State into the playoffs. Worst Case senario for Miss. State now. Since Ole Miss got blown out yesterday, Miss. State is going to be expected to win, and win big time. There is a lot of talk about how important winning your conference Championship game is. Ohio State will defeat Michigan (Bye Brady Hoke) and probably play a good Wisconsin team in the Big 10 CC game. A win there will be looked on rather favorably by the Committee. As far as the numers game goes, my guess is that IF Florida State gets past Florida and then Ga. Tech in their CC game, the Committee will set them up against Alabama, if Ohio State gets in. The Rose Bowl would love an Ohio State-Oregon Big 10-Pac 12 match up. 'Bama and Florida State would like the fact that they do not have to travel far.
I'd be up for an Osu Oregon matchup. Last time we met we were told we had no chance but still won. Keep on Haiten!1. Oregon

Thanks for the respect red eye. I'm sure it would be a great game.
In reality, this is Oregon's last shot at the NC for a while. They lose Mariota and at least 4 more on offense, and 6 or so on defense. Their schedule in 2015 is much tougher, going to Michigan State, Washington, Arizona State, and Stanford and hosting USC the week after the Stanford game. It is going to be net to impossible for Oregon, or any Pac 12 team, for that matter, to lose less than two games next season. With USC back in business, UDub returning good players and recruiting well, Stanford (if they ever open up their offense), and the fact that on any given day....Oregon will not be able to dominate the Pac 12 like they did the past 4 years.
The only way we could see a Bama-Fla St matchup is if Fla St drops to 4 or Oregon trades spots with Bama... Ducks will not pass Bama and they shouldn't..... I also think Ohio St finds a way into playoff...... Does anyone here feel Fla St is going down to Ga Tech ?
