No problem, packman, hope my advice leads you to some enjoyable times. Rio also made a good recommendation for Crazy Horse Too. I used to go there in the afternoon on like a Mon or Tues around 2-3pm. You will have much better luck picking up a girl out of there if you go in then as they all

Actually it was a casino host at Mandalay who mentioned it to me. I am going to check it out though to satisfy my curiosity and if I'm wrong I'll come back on here and take responsibility. To this little piece of sh!t Brian who crawled onto this board I will beat your fuking ass. I will meet you anywhere you like when I'm in Vegas and beat the fuking dog shit out of you. Anywhere. You sh!t talking little bitch.

Yes that's not true about NFL players not being allowed in Las Vegas. A couple years back I played craps at the MGM Grand and Lomas Brown and Dave Brown of the Arizona Cardinals were there playing. This was in week 8 of the NFL season.

- play low limit (5-10 tables) blackjack at the Palms on Friday Night. Handes down THE BEST atmosphere for the single life. You sit down and immediately the chicks hit on you... and their not working either! Playing cards, plus a 360 view of hot girls all piss drunk and in the mood to party. Plus where else can you play blackjack with hip-hop music playing in the backround?

-You must fit in a 3-4 hour trip to Crazy Horse Deux with your buds sometime during the drip. Better after 2:00am when the 8:00-1:30am rush is passed.

-Party at Curves (Alladin) or RumJungle (Mandalay) Fri or Sat night.

-Bellagio breakfast/brunch buffet

-If you do kickass and pad your bankroll head back to thePalm and find 2 working girls for a 3some. My experience they look more like the girl next door or atleast respectable instead of the smoke wrinkled skanks that you find else where.

-Sportsbooks (Bellagio / Imperial Palace / or Ceasars)...GET THERE EARLY. Place your prop bets the day before at Imperial Palace or Barnaby Coast (sharpest lines) so you don't have to worry about doing it the morning of, then getting to your selected sportsbook late and end up standing

Wow what class this kid has. Hide behind your computer boy. Suprised you havent been kicked of this site yet. Ill be at the Palms all weekend.

Thanks for the info 3peet! Didnt realise that they have that low of limits at Palms on the weekend. I actually think Olympic Gardens is better than CH2. Never tried Bellagio for breakfast, will check it out

I have the benefit of working in LV and am out there 3 or 4 times a month, so feel compelled to add my $0.02

There is so many entertainment oportunities in LV and it is impossible to do them all in one weekend. Everyone's recommendations above are good ones (have done them all).

Much depends on what your priorities are; gambling, clubbing, strippers, eating, etc. so I'll try to hit briefly on all of them. Another big one is whether you are single or with your girl. Since you are going with your friends, I'll focus on the "single guy" scenario.

I have spent many superbowl weekends out in LV, but now avoid it because the normal 2:1 ratio of guy to good looking girl is tripled at least. Too much testosterone for my tastes. This can be great if you are out with your buddies and really don't give a shit...but if you bring your girl out there, she is going to get hit on, constantly. The good thing about all the guys is that Las Vegas becomes HOME BASE for strippers around the country. The LV airport is a great place to see hot chicks, especially on the thursday before and the Monday and Tuesday after.

GAMBLING: If your motivation is winning, strongly recommend going downtown. I always have better luck downtown. Try the Californian, a small casino catering to Pacific Rim countries. There is definitely a different clientele downtown compared to the strip. So if you want some eye-candy while you gamble, I highly reccomend the Hard Rock, The Palms, Mandalay Bay, and Ceasars.

CLUBBING: All of the big clubs will be packed SB Weekend. I highly suggest you go VIP if you intend on clubbing. You simply go to the front of the line and tell the bouncer you want to buy a bottle (or bottles). You get to sit in the VIP area, and get catered service by a hot waitress. Now a bottle is going to cost some major $$$$, but the reality is that between you and your friend (s), you will spend close to that amount on entry ($20 or more per) and drinks ($10 per). Considering the time in line and waiting for watered-down drinks....It is so worth the $$$. An added benefit is that chicks will be all over you. Sit at your seat and grab one walking by or go find a girl and invite her to sit with you. Guaranteed success. At some clubs, the bouncers behind the velvet rope will work for you. I've had bouncers go get girls for us and also "remove" girls that were wasting our time. But don't forget to tip everyone.

As far as good clubs and/or lounges, I prefer hip hop over techno/trance so prefer clubs that at least mix it up. The Palms (Rain and Ghost Bar). Circle bar and side bar at Hard Rock will be going off (lots of guys), but the club there (Babies) is pretty young and techno. Rum Jungle at Mandalay Bay used to be good, but I've noticed a sharp decrease in talent. Studio 54 always has nice looking women. I, too, like a previous poster, prefer to start the night at lounges. V-Bar at venetian is good...Shadow at Ceasars, Ghost Bar...Tabu at MGM, Voodoo Lounge at Rio. I've heard good things about Light and Venus, but have never been.

STRIPPERS: The best are (imo) Crazy Horse II, Club Paradise, Saphire (new entry), and Olympic Garden. The best looking women, hands down, are at Club Paradise, but I hate the place. You get seated and can't walk around, so the girls come to you. I like to roam, and the best place to roam is Crazy Horse Too. Tons of beautiful girls, most with great attitudes. Saphire is huge and I've only been once, and it was really good too. Olympic Garden is hit or miss, the girls are getting a little too "worn" for my tastes. But for sheer debauchery (and a blow job too), go to Spearmint Rhino at about 5 or 6 am. Can't really say the girl is going to be all that, but if you really have to bust a nut...

There are a number of of after hour clubs(4 am or later), but Drai's is probably the most well-known and best of the bunch.

And for a final recommendation, stay Monday Night and go to the Foundation Room at Mandalay Bay. This private club is only open Monday nights to the public. This is a great place to see the country's best strippers (and hottest local cocktail waitresses) out in a club, as many stay after the busy weekend to avoid the airport and enjoy a night out partying. Also heard that House of Blues on Sunday night is going off now...same scenario.

WHORES: Nothing funnier to me than seeing a girl sitting in front of a slot machine (not playing) with her cell phone to her ear. Mandalay Bay, for sure. The Palms has their fair share now too. Another gathering spot is The Rio...go to the back bar just to the right of the main entrance at about 3:00 AM. They are cute and they are all working.

DINING: I prefer good meals, so I stay away from Buffets, because they just make me feel like shit (and shitting) afterwards. There are more great restaurants in Las Vegas than anywhere in the world. My personal faves are Little Budha and 9 at Palms (check out the women at the bars), anything in the Ceasar Shops, MGM also has several great restaurants. For late night dining (4 AM), the cafe at Hard Rock is always good. Some good choices off strip too (Hamada, Morton's,)

SHOWS: Blue Man Group or Circ du sulait (sp?).

Well, I could go on but that's enough for now. I hope you have a great time and am sure that no matter what you and your friends do, you will have a great trip.

And as far as the game itself...it's always been an afterthought for me after a weekend of partying and usually watch it in my hotel room half asleep or getting busy.

I like this guy alot. Light is one of my favorite places in Vegas. I hate that techno/trans BS also and Light seems to play good music. Some of the casinos downtown act like little bitches if youre taking them for some money. One of them kicked me out because I took em for like a dime two nights in a row. I went in there a little drunk at like two in the morning but wasnt acting like an ass at all and they used it as an excuse to kick me out.

I called the GM the next day and after he talked to the floor he said the guy thought I was counting the deck down. Anyway, some of the casinos downtown act like little bitches and their blackjack rules are horrible and a hell of alot more restrictive then strip casinos.

I have over 2K comp at Mandaly. Why the hell hasnt anyone ever told me about the foundation room?

I just got back from Vegas and am going back for March Madness.

I love the Mirage all around. Great atmosphere, spa, decent room, food, and excellent craps.

Bellagio is the best buffet. However I think eating at a nice place would be better since the buffets are so expensive and you dont feel so full afterwards.

Venetian had some killer cocktail waitresses.

Rio, Hardrock for the single crowd.

And Yes I want one of those stippers direct shirts.

Some good stuff mentioned above...here's two more that immediately come to mind

If downtown, go to the Main Street Station and ask someone where the "Berlin Wall" bathroom is. A huge chunk of the wall has urinals mounted to it. An attendant will make sure the coast is clear is woman want to see it (the wall, that is).

N9NE steakhouse at Palms...awesome steak...save room for the S'Mores dessert, comes with its own Sterno.

As for NFL players not being allowed in Vegas during the season...hogwash. Every bye week this season there were several sightings of players, big names like Marshall Faulk and Jeremy Shockey and on down.

WC Bias.....great writeup.. Nice tip on the "buy a bottle" recommendation.

Mystere is probably the best of the Circ de Soleil shows. (of course i saw them w/ my wife, lol)

In anycase..I'm trying to find that same gig u got, (a la working in Vegas on a traveling basis).... Best gig there is.

I ended up working in Vegas for 3 years, 3peet, and it certainly has some perks especially since I was in the service industry as a manager at Hooters (too bad the job paid $hit money, but it was still fun). While it has its fun, life in Vegas can become monotonous and have some sharp ups and downs if you like to drink and/or gamble...I spent more cash taking cabs because I would find myself pummelled drunk at the casino or bar at 5am, but man, what a way to spend my life between 23 and 26. I crammed more crazy, wild, stupid stuff into 3 years than most people get in a lifetime! Vegas baby, Vegas!

3-peet....real estate baby...the place is a gold mine.

hallr....It is much easier not living there and just working. I usually stay at the Palms (best bed in town), and now stay away from gambling...unless there is a couple cuties sitting at a table.

where you at in Texas stewie? I went from Detroit (8 yrs) to Miami (2yrs) to Vegas (3yrs) back to Motown for a bit then on to Austin TX, state capital. Not a bad town, but it sure ain't Vegas. I feel like Worm in Rounders when Mike McDermott says "Ya know what always makes me feel better?" Worm: "Rolled up Aces over Kings" Mike: "Stacks and Stacks of chips so high you can't see over them." Ahhhh
