What a treat to have this idiot finally go away....but the classless espn hires another joker to replace him yet someone not nearly as bad as kornhole....now i can at least turn up the volume again.
I have never understood why the MNF broadcast when it was on ABC and now ESPN uses three guys in the booth. All you need is a good play by play announcer and a good experienced analyst. Bye-Bye Tony!
I saw the welcome that T.O received last night when arriving at the Buffalo airport....I can't wait! It's the only time in the past ten years that I can honestly say that I miss living there :toast:
He was already critiquing Dick Jauron earlier today with the signing of T.O.....He was giving Jauron major kudos for his coaching abilities, and we all know what a shitty coach he is @)
If I know Gruden, he'll be on the under in the MNF opener. Loves defense. Probably will drop some serious coin on the under and then give us clues throughout the first half.@)
TK gave up a lot of money to leave the booth. He is getting paid quite well on PTI. Probably in the high six figures. The MNF gig had to be worth another 1/2 million a year. Not that I'm crying for Tony. Between the money he has made from his radio show which was syndicated for a while. His buy out from the Washington Post. His books. PTI and the few years he was on MNF he has big bucks socked away.
"I'm just a layman when it comes to football. I better stick to basketball. The only thing I know about football is the point spreads" – TNT's Charles Barkley, following reports that ABC had informally gauged his interest in joining the "MNF" broadcasting booth.
good move; he should add some good knowledge to game; in my opinion nobody was as good as hank stram as he would tell you play 80% of the time when they lined up (hank would say: in this formation they run off tackle to strong side 90% of time and sure enough here comes off tackle to strong side.)
