Pitt didn't call timeout on 3rd and 18 for indy when indy had the ball at their own 10 with 45 seconds left in the half, Ended up getting the ball back with about 14 seconds left at midfield. And it looked like the reason they didn't call timeout is because Rivers pretended he wanted to hurry up and snap it because they needed to get a play off

The guy's a complete moron!! He went for 2 on their second td, missed it, then their next td he doesn't go for it, when he had to!!! Being down 13 or 12 you're going to need two tds. On that fourth down and 1 it would have not made a difference if he went for it, because he would have called some idiotic play that would not have worked!! He's too stupid to know that Big Ben is 18 out of 19 on 4th and 1 using the qb sneak!! Remember when they were undefeated 4th and 1 against the 'skins, dumb call they lose the game. Or a couple of years ago against the Jags in the playoffs. Twice 4th and 1 two more dumb calls and they lose the game!! Having the biggest qb one of the best centers, 18 out of 19 on 4th and 1 is not enough! As dumb as they come. Only Kyle Shanahan, not running the ball with big leads in two Super Bowls is worse!

It was weird that Tomlin went for 2 when they cut it to 19, and then missed it. No reason to go for 2 there.

Then they cut it to 13, but decided to kick the extra point and make it 12? 11 is a crucial number to hit there.....TD plus FG if you can get a two-pointer after the TD. None of it made sense.

Then to punt the ball on the first play of the 4th quarter on 4th and 1 near midfield. You have all the momentum, you're moving the ball, what do you have to lose? You're down 12 to a team that's already put 35 up....go for it.

It's weird how so many of the most reputable coaches make the most boneheaded decisions when it comes to clock management, 4th down decisions, etc. Even Bill and Payton struggle with this; Bill especially does with end of half clock management.
