To offer a personal opinion here, what bothers me the most about Trump is not the manner in which he handled the Virus(although to be honest,
it could have been a lot better).
The real thing that bothers me is about Trump the man/the human being and the manner in which he views himself and others.
In short for me this goes way beyond politics and his capabilities.
To sum up, I am totally shocked by the arrogant/know-it-all attitude ABOUT EVERYTHING he has about himself including the Virus, when in fact
he knows nothing compared to the finest medical minds in the country.
In addition as a fellow human being, I am totally repulsed at the manner in which he treats reporters at the press conferences(especially female
ones) when they ask him a difficult but very relevant question or dare to offer polite criticism.
Also, as has been pointed out many times, he has NOT ONCE admitted to a shortcoming or error on his part.
If there is something glaring which went wrong, he NEVER blames HIMSELF but rather blames someone else.
He has also told a DOCUMENTED 18,000-20,000 lies or misleading statement to the American Public during his tenure.
Imo his motives about anything he does ae self-serving, in short do/say whatever it takes to get re-elected.
There is a lot more I could allude to, but suffice it to say that for me anyways, what a candidate is as a PERSON first is the starting
point before anything else.
For me Trump gets an F in above, which means I couldn't care less about anything else politically speaking.
